I decided in 2015 that I would like to start a blog. At the ripe old age of 35 I felt I had so much to share with the world. Not that I know better, but I have been through a lot and wanted to share my experiences. This blog is a place people can maybe find advice or a path during tough times, as well as a laugh or inspiration during good times.

I have served in the Royal Air Force and been to Iraq, I have been a full-time student at the age of 32, and a single parent for the best part of 15 years. I’ve been on a million dates, struggled with finances, and fell to the deepest lows with depression. But above all else, I am still here to tell my tale. I am also a successful engineer, novice DIYer, and wannabe blogger.
